One of the things people tell us about learning and development is how difficult it is to create new content. The typical L&D content playbook (videos, seminars, slidedecks, quizzes) take months to lovingly craft — and get approved. New content quickly becomes old content, and updating old content takes precedence over creating new content.

Well, we’d like to change all that. And while the way people create roleplay sessions in our Immersive Training Platform was always pretty fast, we knew we could do more to make L&D lives even easier.

Which brings us to this month’s biggest feature release: our new scenario creation wizard.

We think even Gandalf himself would be proud of this one. And, like all wizards, it arrives precisely when it’s most needed.

What is the scenario creation wizard in Immersive Training Platform?

The scenario creation wizard is the new way to build AI roleplay scenarios inside Immersive Training Platform. You describe the conversation you want your people to practice, in plain language, and the platform assembles a complete, ready-to-run scenario around it.

That means the situation and its context, the persona who your team will roleplay with, and the assessment criteria the learner gets scored against afterward — all of it can be generated with only a few sentences.

Here’s an example of what kind of input can create an in-depth roleplay scenario via the new wizard:

The participant is an account executive making a first discovery call with Jordan Mehta, a VP of Operations at a 500-person logistics company who agreed to the meeting but is skeptical that yet another software tool will help. The goal is to uncover Jordan's biggest operational pain points, qualify budget and timeline, and earn a follow-up demo. Jordan is friendly but guarded, pushes back on vague claims, and will end the call early if the rep launches into a generic pitch. A successful outcome is the rep asking sharp, open questions, surfacing at least two concrete pain points, and securing a scheduled demo with the right stakeholders.

How do you create an AI roleplay with the scenario wizard?

Instructional designers rejoice. You can now create a roleplay scenario in five short steps, and using the information you probably already have on hand.

  1. Create scenario: Click ‘new immersive training’ on your Immersive Training Platform dashboard, and select ‘roleplay scenario’.
  2. Describe the conversation: Give your scenario a name and add a little context (using the guide and examples if necessary). You can even attach any documents you already have — sales decks, company policies, customer service scripts, etc.
  3. Choose a personality: Choose the digital human your team will roleplay with. Pick a pre-built personality type, or customize your own.
  4. Clarify: The wizard might ask you some clarifying questions based on the information you’ve provided.
  5. Review, publish, practice: Within a few minutes, your new roleplay session will be ready to go.

Check out the video below to see how this looks in practice.

What else we launched this month in UneeQ’s Immersive Training Platform

The wizard is the headline. A score of smaller upgrades went live alongside it.

  • A cleaner look and a tidier library: The interface has been refreshed across the whole platform. Your training library is easier to browse, navigate, and manage — which matters a lot more once you're creating scenarios quickly enough to build a real library.
  • Faster feedback: Results now come back even quicker. We keep tuning the AI coaching pipeline, and this round shaved more time off the wait between finishing a roleplay and reading your feedback.
  • Feedback that catches you repeating yourself: Everyone has their go-to phrases. Our platform now spots repetition and suggests fresher ways to say the same thing — useful for anyone who has ever heard themselves say "does that make sense?" nine times in one call.
  • Better speech recognition for names and key terms: Multi-word key phrases (like a person's full name) are now also registered word-by-word with the speech-to-text engine, so it recognizes individual name components more reliably during sessions.

Available now!
