We're excited to share that UneeQ has been chosen in Gartner's review of 'Cool Vendors in Digital Humans for Websites'.

What’s cooler than being cool?
Fans of the song ‘Hey Ya!’ by Outkast might be screaming “ice cold” right about now. But we believe the real answer is “being named in Gartner’s latest report titled Cool Vendors in Digital Humans for Websites.”
That’s right, we're excited to share that UneeQ has indeed been recognized in this report, which highlights companies pushing the boundaries of what's possible in immersive digital customer experiences.
So what’s it all about, which vendors made the “cool” list, and what sets them apart?
Gartner's analysis zeroed in on some of what makes UneeQ stand out in the digital human space.
Here's what caught their attention:
Emotionally intelligent interactions. Unlike static avatars that simply deliver information, UneeQ's digital humans aren't void of emotions. Our Synanim™ AI animation technology renders lifelike expressions and movements that create seamless, humanlike interactions. Gartner noted that our AI avatars can recognize and respond to emotions—like frustration—making conversations feel natural rather than robotic.
Personality that matches your brand. Your digital human should feel like part of your team, not a generic chatbot with a face. Gartner highlighted how UneeQ avatars can be built to closely reflect a company's branding, with personalities designed to fit the brand's identity. Users can even create backstories for their AI avatars, giving them a life history that makes buyer engagement more authentic.
Cross-channel brand ambassadors. UneeQ's digital humans website assistants can act as the personification of a company's brand across multiple channels. Through our emotional and personality-building capabilities, they become true brand ambassadors—not just FAQ machines.
Gartner's research points to a fundamental shift in how B2B buyers want to interact with websites. Buyers prefer a self-service approach, especially in the early stages of their journey. They want to find relevant content without friction—and that's where digital humans shine.
The report notes that highly personalized B2B websites are using digital humans to reduce customer research effort and increase conversions where conventional optimization methods fall short. Digital humans provide easy navigation, customizable journeys, and can act as "digital influencers" that create greater brand affinity.
And that’s not to touch upon the possibilities outside of website customer service. Some of the biggest impacts digital humans are having today are in immersive learning, where they help staff by roleplaying realistic scenarios, improving their skills through on-demand, interactive practice.
But back to the Gartner report.
Gartner identified three “cool” companies in this space, each bringing something different to the table:
QuestIT takes a multimodal approach with their Algho platform, analyzing tone of voice, facial expressions, and semantics to provide humanlike responses. They've made impressive strides in accessibility, incorporating Italian Sign Language into their AI avatars.
ZREALITY is betting on the metaverse, offering an all-in-one platform that combines AI with 3D, VR, and mixed reality experiences. Their approach is particularly suited for organizations looking to create immersive 3D environments on the web.
UneeQ focuses on emotional intelligence and brand personification. We've built our technology around creating digital humans that feel genuinely alive—with personality, backstory, and emotional depth that make every interaction more human.
Gartner did note some challenges across the space. For UneeQ, they pointed out that ensuring digital human alignment with brand guidelines takes time and collaboration.
This has been true for many of our enterprise clients, for whom we design personas that match their brand look, voice, and values. We find brands that are invested in this process are also very willing to spend the time on this collaboration. However, we also have a large collection of ‘stock’ digital humans, as well as Immersive Training Platform—our solution for out-of-the-box AI roleplay.
It was also notable that Gartner believes consumers generally prefer CGI-created digital humans over photorealistic deepfake styles, in a bid to avoid the ‘uncanny valley’ effect that can ruin a customer’s experience.
Being recognized as a Cool Vendor validates what we've been building for the past decade. With 10 years of pioneering digital human technology, we've developed proprietary capabilities—like Synanim™ animation and our LLM orchestration—that create interactions feeling genuinely alive.
But recognition is just the beginning. As Gartner's research shows, buyers increasingly expect personalized, humanlike digital experiences. Organizations that deliver on this expectation will have a significant competitive advantage.
The future of digital engagement isn't about choosing between human connection and digital efficiency. It's about having both. And we think that’s a pretty cool future worth creating.
