We're really proud to share that UneeQ has been named a finalist in two categories at this year's NZ Hi-Tech Awards:
The NZ Hi-Tech Awards is the biggest tech award program in our native New Zealand — where UneeQ started more than 10 years ago. The awards have been running for 31 years now, recognizing the best of New Zealand's tech industry. Past winners include Rocket Lab, Fisher & Paykel Healthcare, and Xero. With such a pedigree for honoring emerging and high-performing businesses, the recognition of being shortlisted means a lot.
Congratulations to all the finalists across both our categories — CloudHound, PAM, Partly, RossOps, and VXT in Software Solution, and Smart Access, Kara Technologies, RocketWerkz, and StaplesVR in Creative Technology. Genuinely impressive work across the board.
But the biggest thanks goes to the UneeQ team. The engineers, animators, designers, and everyone behind the scenes who's spent years making our digital humans feel less like technology and more like real conversation. Our enterprise clients have benefited from that in a number of ways: from brand ambassadors like Sama for Qatar Airways, to website assistants like Emma from the City of Amarillo.
And, of course, our Immersive Training Platform for simulating face-to-face conversations that make staff training that much more realistic and effective.
The behind-the-scenes work of our amazing team doesn't always get the spotlight, so this feels like a good moment to acknowledge their exceptional work and commitment.
Winners will be announced at the NZ Hi-Tech Awards Gala Dinner on Friday 22 May at Spark Arena in Auckland. We'll see you there!
