UneeQ launches 30-day free trial, endorsements, and more Immersive Training Platform updates

Most months I write one of these for people who already use Immersive Training Platform. This one is a little different, because the biggest thing we shipped in August is aimed at people who don't (yet!) use our AI roleplay platform.

We've had a free trial in the works for a long time, and it’s great to see it go live this month.

Here’s what it’s all about, plus some other Immersive Training Platform updates for August so far.

Our free trial of Immersive Training Platform is now live

Our free trial offers quite a lot for enterprise teams to dig into. For one, you get 30 days, 12 pre-built scenarios, and unlimited AI coaching as part of the trial.

The scenarios cover sales, account management, customer service, education, leadership, and retail and hospitality. You pick one, have the conversation face-to-face with a digital human, and get your performance report when you hang up.

To dig deeper into the details of each session, AI Buddy is available to talk through what went well and how you can improve your score next time.

Really, the only feature we didn’t include is being able to create your own scenarios, save them, and share them with your team. As well as a lot of functional resources to manage your team within the platform. Well, we had to hold something back.

Now let’s look at what else is new!

1. Endorsements are now on for every account

This one would have been the biggest release in any normal month, and answers the question: how do I know whether a trainee is ready?

Completion rates don't answer that. They tell you who sat through the scenario, which is a different thing from who can handle the conversation in real life.

So we built endorsements. A manager sets the scoring criteria for a scenario, plus the score a learner needs to hit to count as proficient. Then they can see who across the organization has cleared that bar and who hasn't.

We ran it with a small group of customers first, took their feedback, and it's now switched on in every account. You'll find it in the platform alongside your existing scenarios.

2. A new roleplay to try

As well as our free trial, we wanted to show any visitor to our website what it feels like to interact on Immersive Training Platform. The realism you get in our AI roleplay scenarios is one of our major advantages, after all.

That’s also now live as part of a stripped back immersive training experience.

You can chat with Sophie, our website assistant, and give her a performance review. You won’t get the 3D Analytics or coaching capabilities of our free trial, but you can get a feel for how our roleplay feels.

3. Everything else that shipped

Five smaller things, all live now:

• Q&A trainings. The digital human asks the questions you wrote, learners answer out loud, and each answer is graded against your criteria. This was in limited release; it's open to all accounts now.
• Manual score override. Org admins, managers, and team managers now have the flexibility to correct an AI score. The reason gets recorded alongside it, so there's a trail of who changed what and why.
• Session reports as PDF. Any report, with the full analysis and the complete transcript, for roleplay and Q&A alike. Mostly requested by people who need to attach something to a performance review.
• CSV exports. My Activity, Team Activity, and User Analytics all export to CSV, and they honor whatever filters you have on screen at the time.
• Bulk user upload. Add a whole team from a spreadsheet, roles included. Errors are flagged by row number before any accounts get created, so a bad row doesn't leave you with half a team set up.
