Where sales careers begin.

Mays Business School at Texas A&M University has one of the most respected professional selling programs in the country.

The School was looking for an AI sales roleplay solution that teaches real skills that transfer to the workplace. How to read a room, build a relationship, follow sales methodology, and apply it. A platform that builds confidence and competence, for true career readiness.

Today those conversations get rehearsed on UneeQ's Immersive Training Platform, with students running more than 100 practice sessions a week.

Giving every student the reps they need.

Roleplay has always been the heart of the Mays curriculum, because students get better by doing the thing out loud with someone pushing back.

The limit was simple arithmetic: one rehearsal takes one instructor for half an hour, and a growing program has more students than it has half hours.

With Immersive Training Platform, students have a structured, scalable way to apply the skills and concepts they learn in the classroom, whenever they need, for as long as they like.

Confidence meets competence.

Students can rehearse job interviews, client conversations, negotiations, discovery calls, presentations, and much more. In each scenario, the digital human listens, reacts to the pitch, and pushes back the way real buyers do.

Our digital humans never tire of running the same scenario a seventh time. Nobody feels foolish for fumbling the open, so students can get it wrong as often as they need to.

After every session, learners are given feedback on their soft skills, including their use of eye contact, body language, and many of the non-verbal skills that help to build trust and value in the real world.

HOW WE craft career readiness

Giving instructors the performance data they need.

Screenshot of UneeQ training analytics dashboard showing performance and engagement metrics including body language, eye contact, facial expression, positioning, conversation flow, and tone of voice ratings with green status. Engagement section displays total practice sessions (154), average sessions per user (10.3), and average session length (3.9 minutes). A bar chart lists most-used scenarios by completed sessions, led by discovery call-healthcare. Sessions over time and active users over time are shown in line graphs, with adoption stats of total users (29), users logged in (28), completed sessions (15), and repeat users (11).

A professor used to know how a student was doing from the handful of rehearsals they personally sat through. Mays faculty can now see every conversation every student has had.

Every session is recorded, transcribed, and scored against the rubric the School defines. 3D Analytics reads more than the words, picking up how a student showed up: whether they rushed the open, whether they held their nerve when the buyer turned difficult, whether they listened and waited for their turn.

Every student faces the same scenario at the same difficulty, so faculty can compare a cohort fairly in a way live practice never allowed – because students and employers rarely agree on readiness. 64% of employers call oral communication very important in a new hire, while only 34% say graduates arrive well prepared.

Faculty can see who is ready long before an employer does, and spot the student who needs another hour of someone’s time. Students get coached by our AI the moment a session ends, so feedback never waits on a calendar. Seven in ten employers hire entry-level staff on demonstrated skills now, and Mays can show the evidence.

"The new Sales Lab gives our students an exceptional environment to practice, receive feedback, and build confidence before entering the marketplace.Students can engage in realistic, repeatable interactions that help them sharpen both their communication skills and their ability to adapt in the moment."
